How to post comments on this site
You do not need to log in to post comments, but your identity will be
questioned if you don't. To get a login identity, or to recover
your password if you've forgotten it, simply visit the Login link in
the menu, and follow the helpful links.
1. Go to the forums page
2. Select the forum you want to post to
3. Use the comment button to make a new post
The new comment button is at the top, above all of the existing
comments. You can also use the reply buttons under each existing
comment to make a reply. If you do not see a comment button, then
comments are restricted to members who are logged-in. Follow the
Login link first, then return to the forums.
4. Enter your comment
The subject may be preset to something uninformative, so you will want
to change it. You can also add one attachment (images preferred -
useful for classifieds). If you are not logged in, you will need
to solve a text puzzle to prove you are not a spam robot.
5. Done!
Your comment will be displayed to you.
6. Oops I made a mistake!
If you are logged in, you have a few minutes during which you can edit
your comment. Scroll down to the end of your comment, and you
will see an edit button. After a few minutes, your comment is
frozen, and cannot be edited.
If you are not logged in, or you spot the mistake after the comment is
frozen, just reply to your own comment, and provide the corrected
information there.
If you did something very bad, and now regret your comments, contact
the webmaster, and he can erase your comment and possibly restore your
damaged reputation. But don't ask him to erase other people's
comments, because he won't.
